Vator TV’s next Vator Splash is coming up May 13 at San Francisco’s Café du Nord, beginning at 4:30 p.m. The Splash event is designed to be a reflection of entrepreneurship - a lot of fun, a lot of substance/hard work and a l

ot of chaos.

The main event is the competition. Ten tech companies will present and be vetted by judges and voted on by the audience. The winner will take part in the Splash Box, an American Idol-inspired segment with four investors as panelists.

Robert Scoble will MC the event and Zappos’ Tony Hsieh and gWallet CEO Gurbaksh Chahal will give the keynotes. In attendance will be VCs from Founders Fund, fB Fund Incubator, August Capital, Mayfield, Hummer Winblad, SoftechVC, Javelin Ventures, Scale Venture Partners, Lightspeed and Charles River Ventures.

More than 400 people are expected to attend.

The event will end with an afterparty with a band consisting of Adbrite founder Philip Kaplan, Mayfield VC Raj Kapoor and Norwest VC Tim Chang.
