According to the figures which have just been published by the ART, 22,201,000 people held a subscription to one of the three French mobile phone operators on February 29th, i.e. a penetration rate of 37 % 427 500 new subscribers joined in February. France Télécom (Itinéris, Ola and Améris in the French Caribbean islands) attracted 198,700 new subscribers, i.e. a total membership of 10,726,900 customers and a market share of 48,33 %. Cegetel (SFR, SRR on Reunion island) attracted 121,100 new subscribers, i.e. a total membership on February 29th of 7,920,300 customers and a market share of 35,67 %. Finally, with 107,700 new subscribers, Bouygues Télécom had a total membership on February 29th of 3,553, 800 customers and a market share of 16 %.
